Preface
This text is given to everyone interested in good health and long life upon this planet, earth. However most of us and particularly Christians have always sought the solutions to living throughout the ages and most times have concluded the true answers for mankind in life are embedded in spiritual teaching and values found the Bible. We have often realized that God has given man the rule of life over himself in that man is often considered the captain of his soul and the master of his fate. That is not to say that man is to rely fully upon his own self-help in matters of his health, mental or spiritual. When it comes to a study or understanding of man’s health, there are situations that call for a background knowledge of man’s physiological functioning. However, medical self-help is definitely not recommended in most medical situations. This is particular true when it comes to bodily injury or other such emergencies. Of course, in many emergencies, there are steps that can and should or must be taken if possible by someone who has a medical knowledge of procedures before the doctor arrives; however, this volume of study will cover some of these steps and perhaps explains in some brief details a few simply accepted medical procedures that if applied before a Doctor arrives can very well save a person life; such as in cases of water drowning, certain types of poisoning, certain body injuries, as snake bits, etc.
Looking at man in search of health from a natural and biblical sense
Often, Humanity is aware that God’s offers in His teaching to man the pillars of life in every sphere. We were made for eternity and there is an incompleteness of knowledge in temporal things alone and in temporal knowledge of earthly things; thus often-modern man finds himself unable to satisfy the eternal quest and need in their inner selves on an earthly plane. Often the teachings of scriptures of the Old Testament and the New Testament stand as man final solutions in his theological, spiritual and physical search for wellness. There is in every man or woman an ever-increasing need to understand the total need about himself or herself upon the planet. The bible is remotely a teaching not bound by time or space, and incomparable to any other teaching of truth regarding the facts of life in both man’s spiritual and physical being. When we search for a scientific knowledge, ideology or theology for mankind whether in the scientific, spiritual or physical, this answer can only be found in an embodiment of the teaching found in the Bible. The biblical understanding of God interwoven into the fabric of mankind gives a total sense and knowledge of man-self upon the planet. This involves our living in the physical, spiritual and mental world and the meaning in that life is physical, mental and spiritual. We should have knowledge of our human triune nature as well as we should have an awareness of this nature in us.
One hundred and twenty years
Often, very few of us know God’s promises us a life span with a specific duration of years of life upon the planet. In the Bible, the book of Genesis chapter six and verse three it states, “And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years (upon the earth).” In this passage, the word from the Lord for man’s days of life upon the earth is 120 years. Why is life so significantly shorter than what God has promised? Does that promise hold true for today? Has humankind in some ways or perhaps in many ways made void their right to life the years promised by God? We will endeavor to find an answer to these questions in this text.
There has never been a better time to study natural health than now. More than ever, people are becoming aware that God gave Israel in the Torah many years ago understanding and knowledge about the laws of nature and living healthy prosperous lives – in His declarations of dietary laws, morals, laws, etc. As we face increased chemical, radiation, and surgical treatments as remedies for our growing health problems, we are asked if there are alternatives or not, are these ways always the answer. With medical costs increasing, an increasing number of people are looking for alternatives; we will refer to the Bible as it set forth unequivocally divine laws about man’s health and divine laws governing his health upon the earth. God is the Eternal, Infinite, Ruler and Creator of the universe with absolute power over man and His creation. With this truth as our underlining fact, we seek without restraints to fully understand and relate the administrations of God and His divine’s methods of administration as given to us in health and life. In our several quotations from scriptures, we have chosen to use the King James and the Authorized Version, excluding a few rendering of the Revised Version where scripture is more familiar and more preferred. It will be emphasis in this book that the truths of physical and spiritual laws found in theology and doctrines are vital to understand our trek toward good health (this will include moral and natural laws); they are important to the present and eternal well being of men and women lives. It is given as a fact, a science, and Godly understanding to help our total wellness. The fact remains that medical science exclusive given to health as applied to mankind is and should far excels any other study in both temporal and materials matters on the earth regarding health. The study presented in the book is the truth of how vital preventive studies for good health is needed and the increasing importance of it as an on-going study to us as a revelation of life in the now, as well life that is to come. We will study the Creator's Laws that He has provided a preventive study of health many years in advance for us to know as a guide to healthy living. It is vital to our present well being to know the path to good health and procedures of prevention for wrongful health practices leading to illness and physical death. I have introduced in this text such a study and as well a search for more realization that good health is earned and not simply primary a result of chance. We are aware of inherited physical disadvantages, or as we refer to them as hereditary illness and diseases and an awareness of such illness existing on one behalf without their ability to prevent or perhaps warded off. I hope to have presented a positive, constructive and clear understanding in this approach to preventive, healing and natural health. The science of health and medicine is not violate in this text but is relied upon and respected as true facts in good healthy living and answers for us. In these writings, there is a systematic and a logical approach to study, arrangement of certified facts. I do not present a dogma, or opinion regarding good health but rather a statement of the truths about our good health and wellness. We have no conscious effort or purpose of a complete study of good health, ill health nor have I presented in this text a general conclusion of such. Our brief aim in this volume and subsequent works we have rendered is to present an educational and systematic study about humans and their health in view of what we term as natural health and natural healing. With regard to the many differences among critical acclaim natural health healers, scholars and Doctors of natural health, we are guided by the foundation truths found in general health laws and medical facts. First, the laws as given to us in Medical Science and Practices of medicine; secondly, laws as given to us in the natural health. These general practices are left oral and written. We present this text not in a controversial or apologetic manner; we are here to aid in more healthy living and prolong life as well as provide an increased awareness for more healthy study and results through the knowledge provided in the text. Again, with regard to our current medical laws, teachings and ideals, we violate none. We must make this clear. Some of the practices are historical and its message is not out dated or out molded. The truth is, at the very heart of good health is good understanding and knowledge. Christianity and its views urge such knowledge. A good Christian should practice the laws of good health.
