The clear Bible supported message for this New Testament Church is prepared in his book title "Exposition of the Kingdom and the Church" A Biblical Perspective on New Testament Teaching and Procedures. We oftentimes are looked upon as walking in the shallow of Bishop Charles Harrison Mason. This is true, because our founder, Bishop J. L. Payne is a spiritual son of Bishop C. H. Mason and Bishop A. B. McEwen maintaining the spirituality and vision of ministry planted in him by the late Bishop A. B. McEwen and many others such as the late Bishop Samuel Crouch, Los Angeles, Bishop E. B. The teaching of 'Holiness' was a peculiar and distinctive feature of this early movement and brought about a move of God worldwide. The seed of this present Pentecostal stir came from the Azusa Street Mission under the leadership of Apostle William Seymour. Thus main-line Christianity has been affect in many ways by this Holy Ghost's Experience at Azusa Street move of god. We profess in COGIC, USA to be A BRANCH of this early move of God. This is an essential meaning of Acts of the Apostles; they were the founders of the contemporary Christian church ( 11:26), but are we are more commonly known as AChrist International Churches, USA, mong the contemporaryChrist International Churches, USA , we are often considered a historic part of the Pentecostal's existence. "Earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints"
In spite of the drift away from sound doctrine, there were those who will "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude1:3). When the church drifts away from the faithful practice of the Apostle's Doctrine, the burden falls upon the faithful to revive that 'faith.' In the years given to us, we must give ourselves to that burden of revival in the Church. Christ is coming soon! We are faced with actions in deed, testimony and faith. Our efforts are to function in unity of the faith. With the world wide vision and burden, the church have declared a passion for lost men and women everywhere. In several nations the church has established school programs for training of nations ministers and pastors. Thus churches established to bring about revival in their native lands.
